Our Partnership with 2U
Syracuse University partners with 2U to support the delivery of these online degree programs. 2U is a global education technology provider that operates the learning platform, edX.
Syracuse University has full control over the programs, including: creating admissions standards, rendering admissions decisions, creating academic content and providing course instruction, grading and assessment, selecting and employing all program faculty and instructors, financial aid, tuition pricing, graduation requirements, the issuance of credentials and transcripts, and program size.
2U’s support includes:
- program management services
- marketing and recruitment, including Enrollment Specialists who support prospective students through the application process
- application systems and processing
- faculty coaching, training, and development
- Learning Management System (LMS) customization, maintenance, and 24/7 technical support
- advisory services for content design and development
- student support for clinical, fieldwork, or practicum placement requirements where applicable to program curriculum and requirements
- support with state authorization and licensure compliance requirements where applicable to the program
2U additionally provides student coaching through graduation to a subset of programs.
