Our cybersecurity curriculum prepares you to succeed in high-demand positions and empowers you to adapt in a rapidly evolving field. Core cybersecurity courses focus on topics such as operating systems and algorithm analysis to provide you with a solid foundation in cybersecurity, while elective topics cover machine learning and biometrics to expand your understanding of the changing landscape.
The curriculum consists of 30 credits, including 12 credits of core courses and 18 credits of electives, twelve of which are required technical electives. Learn more about curriculum.

We offer four cohort start dates a year so you can start the program at the time that works best for you.
This elective course provides an in-depth introduction to machine learning theory and methods. You will develop the skills you need to apply machine learning strategies in security contexts as well as explore topics including neural network approaches, data mining, fraud detection, pattern recognition and other contemporary applications.
