Transfer of credit process

Congratulations on your admission to Syracuse University’s School of Social Work at Falk College. If you are interested in having credits evaluated for transfer, here are some things to keep in mind:

Credits must be from a master’s level course;
A grade of B or higher must have been earned;
Credits may not be more than 7 years old;
If a Pass grade is earned, documentation is required from the institution to state a pass; grade is equivalent of a B or higher.

Documents you will need to obtain include:

Syllabus for each course you want to be considered;
Course descriptions;
Official degree-bearing transcript.

The transfer of credit process requires faculty review. You must submit all materials for review by the Enrollment Deposit Deadline. The transfer credit turnaround time is at least two weeks once all documents are received, so it is important to submit these items as soon as possible to ensure that you can register for the classes you want.
